Ah, I could see how they felt because of the misunderstanding about how the other felt for them. That Tsuzuki thought Hisoka didn't think that he couldn't depend on him. While Hisoka thought Tsuzuki always thought at him as a child. And he is an empath. I wish somehow someone or something would make them realize about their misunderstanding! Love your story. It's been awhile since you post another Yami No Matsui fics. ^_^

Tsuzuki carrying Hisoka in? Well that's what you get when you die at the age of 16 and your partner is able to pick you up bridal style. Don't know why Tsuzuki doesn't just teleporth into the infirmary though? Must be because he likes to have Hisoka so close to him and the only time he actually gets to cradle his partner to him, is when said partner is wounded and can't put up a fight.
But the ending was just great. It held so much and was so emotional. I just loved it! "You always make me feel like this. Younger. Weaker. …And so far away. Will I ever catch up with you?" Just beautiful!
