awesome first chapater but why send everyone along?

this sounds like it has potential. A lot of it. Im curious as to where in the timeline of Ranma it is when they jumped thru, and where in the timeline of FF7 it is when they arrive.

On a side note, I agree with the review that the best fics have the characters remain in character, with perhaps a slight bit of change and development. Dont overexaggerate personality traits too much, and dont focus on only one point either, like many others are wont to do (Like Ranma being cocky, Akane seeming like a total b*tch, etc.)

it has all of the manga online, and translated to english. The Ryu and Herb arcs are in the volumes 30+ (im pretty sure, not 100% tho).

Any hint on what the pairing will be? you seem to lean towards RanmaNabiki right now..although I personally think the canon was obviously RanmaAkane. Anyway, sorry bout the long review.

It seemed kind of okay at first, and I don't know if it's me or what, but it seems like almost every other ranma fic goes by the fanfiction stereotypical ranma-verse. While some people may enjoy this, it is the ones that are true to the character that come out on top. I would suggest finding either the entirety of the manga or watching the anime. And for god's sake don't watch the anime and base all of your assunptions on what happens after the anime on what you read in fanfiction.

Herb reminds me a bit of Seperoth, and ranma should have a difficult time of it

It sounds like this could be an interesting story depending on how you take it. It feels just a little rushed as well. It might be good to add a little more detail to smooth out and give greater depth to the scenes.

I only know FFVII from the movie, so I may have troubles to follow your story if you use the game as model, but I'd like to read more.

Yes another Ranma/FF7 crossover can't have to many of thoughs, but only question why did you leave Ukyo out of it.

This is an awsome begining! but i'm wondering would this be set around the time that Cloud joins AVALANCHE which at the time had consisted of Barret, Tifa, Jessie, Biggs and, Wedge. Or maybe you can place the setting some time after either after the first reactor mission or even after the group rescues Aeris and have left Midgar

I'll be watching for this fic as it comes along. Good intro.
