Rigil Kent 2006-12-25 . chapter 7Excellent new addition. I liked the twist on the aliens bit and actually had wondered about the identity of the aliens as you described them. It's also good to see Montoya starting to pick up on the fact that soldiers rarely fit that mold she keeps wanting to put them into.
Eagerly looking forward to the next installment! |
grayangle 2006-12-16 . chapter 7They seem to be getting better that the whole exploration thing. I mean no one died this time. THis is a great story please keep up the great work. |
Admiral 2006-11-13 . chapter 1Thanks for the good word, AJT! Actually, most of the feedback I get for these stories is at the trekBBS site, and since I put the stories up in completed form you don't get the same feedback as you would for a work in progress.
P.S.: Dude, you, like, spoiled the twist! :)
Thanks again! |
Andrew Joshua Talon 2006-11-13 . chapter 7(grin) More or less a happy ending. Not bad at all. Looking forward to the next one! Just wish you'd get more reviews. |
Andrew Joshua Talon 2006-11-13 . chapter 6Heh, Bajor. Interesting version of it. Less of "simple religious folk", and more of a more realistic culture. Not all humans are united under the "human" banner, after all-Why should all aliens be that way? Good work! |
Andrew Joshua Talon 2006-11-13 . chapter 5Woah. Talk about deja-vu... Heh. Us. Shadow People. Oh! |
Andrew Joshua Talon 2006-11-13 . chapter 3Man, who'd have thunk that WE'D be the UFO aliens hundreds of years from now? Excellently done!
(sigh) Why is it that the scientists can't figure out that the military trains and eqips itself so well so that it DOESN'T have to fight? The whole reason for having the best of the best and most of the best is to keep the peace, not start wars! Most rational lifeforms will NOT attack a race that is protected by a well-armed and well-trained military. Except for religious psychos, but then they aren't rational by definition. |
