Hmm...what I can suggest for the next chapters..how about slowly developing Ash and Lance's relationship? Oh and you can make it such that a few years later, around 7 after Ash's child is born, Gary would finally find Ash but then he witness this sweet scene between Lance and Ash finding out that they are now engage to be married.

I kinda have it in my head after reading your fic. Ash's kid would be a son and calls Ash "mommy" and has a serious case of mother complex where he, the son, tells Lance that for now he can marry his "mommy" but when he grows up, he'll take back his mommy and marries him. Hehehe...

Hope that inspires you to continue this fic.

Please, PLEASE, don't let Gary have a second chance! I've seen enough abuse cases in my life to know that they never change. I love the idea of Ash finding new love and a new life, and possibly becoming the 5th Elite member. I love your writing style!

Overall this story is really, really good. I ove your Palletshipping stories manly because your one of the only people I can find that actually writes them and you do it well! ^^ The first two chapters were really sad but they were wonderful and I love Bruno! He's hilarious, and Lorelei has red hair but it's fine! This was a good story and I hope that sometime you'll look back at it and maybe add another chapter (hint,hint) I don't mean to sound pushy though, it's fine

I think gary should make a reappearance and do more than try and find ash. gary should stop feeling sorry for himself and go find ash even though he is with the elite four. gary needs to be there for ash and the baby.

Ash leaving gary was the smartest thing he probably did at the moment. where ash would go i would think he would go to the elite four considering how much they helped ash in the past.

Ash being pregnant is something totally different and unexpected and gary nearly strangling ash just because he wants ash to get rid of baby.

Gary being the abused boyfriend type thats something different
from garys natural personality. and abusing ash that is just wrong and cruel.

i just love how you wrote each elite four members. u get to see a sensitive side of them that you don't normally see, and having Ash bring that out of them is a very well thought-out plan.

hmm... maybe in your next chapter, you could elaborate more on ash's time with the elite four. have him spent some one-on-one time with each of the members, like how you did with Agatha in this chapter.
There's got to be some deeper meaning on why each of them decided for him to stay, right?
oh, and maybe the Elite Four could be Ash's new family in a way. Lorelei the cold, but caring older sister; Bruno the brawny and supportive older brother; Agatha the terse grandma; and Lance the... well, you said in the summary that Lance is going to get a claim on Ash, so maybe a guardian..?... ^^;
