Very nice! The real challenge doing a story that's purely centered around the romantic angle on a pair of characters--especially the canon pairing--is finding a way to make things fresh and unique when the core of the story is something that many have done many times before, i.e. "bring Ranma and Akane together."

And you pull it off extremely well. The letter works excellently as a framing device, enabling Akane's conversations with herself, and a lot of introspection and character development just coming out very naturally, without having to force it.

The ending was sweet and touching, pulling things nicely together on a warm note. All in all, an extremely enjoyable oneshot.

I have just finished reading your fanfic Sincerely, Akane. I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with your ability to pick up an understated theme in a otherwise action dominated story, and make it breathe life all on its own. I have been a fan of Ranma 1/2 and other Rumiko Takahashi stories since I first picked up a manga. Your story has taken well thought out concepts from the series and tied them together nicely.
You have followed the storyline concepts for Ranma and Akane very well. As I read this I realized that I could actually see this as an episode of the series. Everything in the storyline fits. You stayed true to the characters, and for that you have my gratitude. I have read many fanfics of Ranma 1/2, but your stand apart from the others in my mind. You have gained a fan.
