I love you on so many levels.

Wow, that was an excellent follow up to what has been one of the best Bones episodes to date. I liked how you honed in on the concept of luck and what her thoughts would be on his offhanded comment. I like how you reconciled her beliefs with the idea of luck and summed up her feelings in a beautiful ending line.

This new trend, she feared, was compromising her objectivity, and she wasn’t so sure she liked it.] - *smiles* Don't fight it Tempe

[The injury wasn’t serious, but it sure hadn’t helped when he hit his head again on the overhead compartment] LoL, poor Seeley :).

[Every game she had played in the past few days had an underlying layer of logic, mathematics, carefully calculated odds. She could understand that, easily. But there was something else there. A hope for the odds to turn in the player’s favour. A hope for a little luck. And that was what ensnared so many people, including her otherwise steadfast partner.] - Unfortunately, some people can't stop :(

Tempe looked away, busying herself with wrapping more ice in the now damp cloth. “I told you, it was silly. I don’t know why I thought it.”

“It wasn’t silly,” he disagreed softly. “It was…it was good of you.”] - I agree with Seeley

[Perhaps…perhaps luck wasn’t some mysterious hand of chance, some unexpected blessing, an unseen fortune. Maybe, it was just about being in the right place. Knowing the right thing. Saying the right words. Maybe, it was about the person. Their skills, their knowledge, their words, the circumstances and the people that surrounded them.] - I'd say both... I mean, why not? :)

Once again, you've captured Tempe's voice, Seely as well... you've got a good sense of these characters *hands you cookies*

This would've been a cute extended ending to the show.

The randomness of it didn't bother me, well-written as usual... I love getting 'lost' in your stories!

I just watched that episode this morning (thank goodness for teacher's meetings, my friend!), and am now totally in love with David B. If I wasn't already obsessed with the Semper ship, this one would've convinced me. I mean, the look on his face when she stepped out of the bathroom in that dress? Hee...

Great job, sweetie. As always, wonderfully written and perfect characterizations. I enjoyed it and hope to see more soon!

Aw so adorable! lol that was cute!

Now THIS would have been the perfect ending to a great episode! Booth's concern that Brennan's "luck" might lead her into his addictions was so endearing, and so Booth. I enjoyed Brennan caring for Booth on the plane...we saw a little of that on the show, but not NEARLY enough for me! ;) The whole internal dialogue that Brennan had about the concept of luck was perfect. The idea of "luck" is one that she would have to examine, dissect, and formulate a decision about...but "One glance at the sleeping man beside her gave her the answer." "Whether she believed in luck or not didn't matter. She believed in him." Her conclusion about luck...and YOURS...was perfect! I do happen to believe in luck...we're lucky to have wonderful fanfic writers like you! :)

It's me, your pen-pal and "Bones" lover. I'm so glad you wrote this story. Thank you so much for your PM. I got it almost just after I sent mine, awesome timing. And no, it wasn't too long, I love long letters. If you want to email me sometime instead that would be cool. It's a little easier, too.

Now, it's time for the 'real' message. An answer to your burning question, I can see it in your mind. Heheheh. My brother and I ended up watching the WHOLE DAMN EPISODE it was so good!

I was like, "Oh, my God. What have I been MISSING?" I cracked up countless times at the usual Booth/Brennan humor and am still reciting quotes to this day. It was AMAZING! I loved to see David back in action and kicking some major big-ass. Did you 'see' that guy? Holy sneakers, David is 6'1" and that guy was taller than him!

One last thing: Not to be rude, but did you hear the part about when they were talking about a prostitute? I laughed so hard, thinking of you and your story. Hope you don't get mad about that. I just thought it was so funny. And now I am done with my obsessive rant.
