Wow... I love it. ^_^ I don't know what else to say, except that you have the darker side of their relationship down perfectly.

You got Izumi's character dead-on here: that awkwardness of being a child trapped in an adult's body, his contrast against Meroko...it's exactly how I've always seen this relationship. Excellent, excellent job.

The quote really fits here as well; though if I were going to make any suggestion it would be to drop the song lyrics. They don't hurt anything, but don't really add anything either.

I don't really have anything to say except I like the story, your writting style and I'm enjoying myself. And they're in character, far as I can tell.

You know, I've been thinking about doing an Izumi x Meroko claim for 30_angsts for quite some time. But I'm glad you did it, because both of these are beautiful. (And I'm terrible about updating.) Very nice work.
