O.o I don't believe it... I've spent over two hours online and this is the first story I've found that does NOT involve ELRICEST?! Thank heaven! I was beginning to go nuts!

This part of the story is a bit closer to my heart at the moment - a friend of mine just finished the series and the movie two days ago and it's still fresh in my mind. The ending is incredible and heck yeah I agree with you, I don't believe that Edward would have died instantly. The most effective way to kill someone instantly is to aim through the - wait, I'd better not get into that. :) And it's ED, some people don't die easily and he's not weak in mind or body. Gah, I shudder to think what must have been going through his mind and Al's as well... I'm very interested in what you come up with! What I've read is really quite good. Please continue!

Okay. Now that that's out of the way, you did a super job. It was really heart-wrenching. The death was sort of frighteningly accurate, too, especially for someone who's obviously never experienced death before. (In this case, me.) What makes it striking is the fact that obviously -you've- never died either, and yet that seemed so eerily accurate.

Very well written. I like how you managed to stuff Al in there, even if his general presence in the story is limited here. Nice job!

I've only recently become a fan of FMA so it has taken me awhile to find this story, but it was very well done, the interaction between the two brothers at the end was very touching. I also wanted to say good on you for the note at the beginning of the story. I am just starting to find out how hard it is to find stories that deviate from that. Congrats
