This is really really good! I different take and L/A angst, and with a different story behind it.

My only recommendation is that in the first paragraph, you change "my people" to "my kind" since...wel...I guess wolves are people too!

This is an amazing story. The character of Draug is so well written and leggy is believable too. Aragon is great in his little cameo (that is so how he would behave).

I can see why it won first place, it really is excellent.

Brillant piece of work! Loved the POV. And how you tied the characters together in a karma sort of way. Loved that it wasn't just another rerun of the mill LOTR piece. Keep up the great work.

This story was incredible! I loved the POV (though everyone has probably told you that =D), and I think that the way you portrayed Legolas' and Draug's strange respect for each other was just beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful story!

I'm only now catching up on the Teitho stories from last month, so I'm sorry if this comes late. I had absolutely no time to read and vote in November and after reading all the wonderful O.C. stories I'm really angry at myself that I didn't manage to put in my vote:(

But first things first: Amazing story, you're best so far in my humble opinion. There are a few things I like about this story. Of course th original POV is among them, but I'm sure others have commented on this already. The fact you use "I am Draug. I am Hunter" as a chorus gives the whole thing a very deep feeling.

What I like most though, is that you chose a wolf as your main character. Tolkien didn't say a nice thing about wolves in his books and it's always bugged me. His view is so obviously fuelled by fairy tales and superstition and I can't really forgive an academic for that. The fact that wolves (next to orcs) are the number 1 baddies in LOTR fanfiction doesn't make it any better. You see, I like wolves. Therefore I always love it if an authors tries to make them something else then a teeth-snapping, saliva-dripping rogue. I thank you wholeheartedly for that story. It was beautiful!

I like this a lot! My favorite animal is the wolf, and the portrayal of the beast is so powerful and.. just amazing. I really enjoyed this!
