I enjoyed your story. Kira struck just the right note between being a Mary Sue and taking over the story. I think you did a great job.

I especially enjoyed the verbal bantering between Aragorn and Legolas. I chuckled at the lines, "“Legolas would like to say – “
“That he can speak for himself, thank you very much,” the elf said irritably.

I was impressed by the way you changed the names used when referring to Aragorn. The different names highlighted Aragorn's different qualities and the different ways Kira perceives her king.

"As if he was calling for someone. Estel.” I dropped my gaze when I saw how stricken Elessar looked at this." That's a very nice turn of phrase. Very sweet.

An OC that I loved, too bad she is unlikely to return. Superb as usual!

This is wonderful! You have Legolas's and Aragorn's voices down SO well. I am a true sucker for Aragorn h/c ... I shall go and peruse and see if you have any of that nearby, as well. :)

Good fic. I was so hoping to read Legolas meeting her as an adult. A sequel, perhaps?

At first, I wondered what the B-plot was about, but in the end it all made perfect sense! And I have to say, even more than the plot I loved your style. The dry humour, the naivety (and curiosity) of a young girl paired of with the beginnings of a very sharp wit.

I love it, sweet and touching...

Can I just say...this was utterly *brilliant*! I did not stop reading it for a moment! Perhaps it's just me, but I've always loved reading stories with someone looking in on two other people's relationship (Estel and Legolas in this case), it's a terrific way to show an insight into their relationship that perhaps no one else could give. This story is probably one of the best written examples of that type of story that I've ever read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it has been added to both my Favorites list, as well as to my C2 Archive.
