I really loved how in-depth you made this particular fic, and the amount of thought that went into developing the character. Even though it skipped around a bit (Neji being 22, then 17, etc) that didn't detract from the style at all. I really enjoyed this fic ^^

you are a genius. this is one of the best one-shots i've ever read! sometimes i wonder what it would be like if neji was a member of team 7, or naruto was a member of team gai... -hinthint- or maybe if the two teams swap members so that neji and naruto are on the same team. there's not much stopping neji and naruto from becoming close friends (especially as naruto is one of the people neji respects the most and naruto is -only- the friendliest person ever)

i like your characterization of gai. it's quite retarded when fic authors make him no more than a randomly ranting idiot, is it not? sure, gai is rather strange, but his heart's in the right place, and it's a big heart too, and that's all that really matters anyway.

Neji is a character we do not really know everything about, unlike Team Seven. It makes this interesting to read, and the first parts about his name to me were the most interesting. I like this a lot.
