well its not really at all suprising that those two are your favorite to write since theyre my favorites to read about. I think this story needs much more Shika

I love the relationships between completely random people, like shino and sasuke, shikamaru the sand siblings, and anko and asuma. And I'm really likin' Kiba pulling out a little from his shell. He could kick some serious ass if he just trained a little more...

"Suddenly, she felt that everything bad that happened to Sasuke in the future was going to be her fault. " oh god. please don't let that be forshadowing.

was this a wake-up call for Tsume?

And Shikamaru..he's just gotten so pathetic.

And Kurenai... well, she could do what Ino was doing. She's older and has a better body, so she would get some good offers.

I L-O-V-E it! This is an AMAZING fic! The subtle twists and the huge plot changes that changing the setting brings. GREAT fic! It makes me happy! It's really well-written and realistic and AWESOME! Is it bad that Im starting to fall absolutly in love Shikamaru's character? Espacially in the chapter before this, I kept thinking "Man he is SUCH a douche bag but he' just so fucking COOL about it!" I'm really starting to hate myself over how much Im starting to love the most amazing bastard ever written about in any story fanfic or otherwise. I mean sure I've reas other stories where i guy can kill a whole class full of terminally ill four year olds, but something about a guy who can see his own mom get a fucking TV THROWN AT HER HEAD and be annoyed that the stupid bitch broke the TV... it's just ice cold in a most fantastic way.

It would seems as if I spoke a bit too soon when it comes to Shino, despite being a druggy he is still very much the Shino I know and love. With that said my dislike for Hinata (a character i typically consider one of my favorites) grows more and more with each chapter, as not only is she lazy, weak, selfish, spineless and a terrible big sister to Hanabi and a unappreciative spoiled bitch to Nwji (albiet a very passive aggressive one) but shes also a coward.

I love your story, the intrigue and character developement is definetly 1st rate. However it seems like Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Chouji are the only ones who actually resemble their original personalities. Hinata is a self-centered, spineless, stuttering girl with, apprently no ninja skills and completely ungrateful to Neji for practically raising herself and her sister. Shino a druggy (wich i totaly don't get even though it IS funny), Kurenai is almost a complete opposite of what she's supposed to be and Kakashi... well Kakashi's a weakling compared to who he originally was.

Neji scares me.. *shivers* it's sad. I think he's one of the guys I really want to improve. It's kinda pathetic. T.T

And poor Naruto. Hell, poor Konohamaru! Cancer, geez. Konoha just can't win. T.T

And man! I was hoping Sasuke would find what he needed and go home happy and sweep up Sakura in an ecstatic kiss-but no. He burns down some books and doesn't find anything because some frickin dude (I'm thinking either Madara or Orochimaru. Probably Oro, we haven't seen much of Madara...but it IS in Kiri, I guess...) stole the papers... DAMN IT!1 erhg...

Just about the only good thing that happened this chapter was Sasuke and Shino's friendship forming and Shino saying he'd try to be clean. OH MY GOD DO YOU THINK IT'LL HAPPEN? uhg...
