Dear SSS: What now, indeed? I don't believe you should let this story stop here. Javert seems just a bit too understanding and willing to accept the reality of his circumstances, but otherwise, I believe you have done a fine job of capturing and portraying the characters of these two men, as well as writing of the strange friendship that seems to have begun between them. I should like it if you would continue this story, even if it has been several years since you updated. Sincerely, Darkover
