I started reading fanfic in high school, and took a long break for university (seven years & two degrees).

I came back to your stories while on sick leave today from work - and your writing is still every bit as enjoyable to me as it was seven years ago!

I love the detail, wit, humour and drama that you manage to portray.

Yet a great chapter from the grand old lady of fanfiction, "wink" I suppose we are of age as my children are 26 and 24 respectively. Anyway you write as I wish I could... A nice touch with the haradric custums.

Especially the moment where they all were examining the riches and Brand pushes it away from him. Love it. Can't wait to read more :)

It's great to see the rangers again, particularly Mablung. Their interactions though Brand's eyes is rather refreshing. He notices different things than a comrade in arms would.

Oh, Andra! How can he bear to hurt Brand so callously and continuously! Brand deserves much better from his guardian.

Words cannot express how thrilled I was to see an update to this story. So glad you're still writing on it! It was nice to see the interaction between Heth and the Rangers, and for Brand to see that part of life. I like that if he, like Faramir, doesn't really take to the swan Knight style of fighting, he is welcome with the Rangers. (it also makes it more impressive that Heth has managed to learn both)
Andra is frustrating me just as much as he is doubtlessly frustrating Imrahil. I hope there's some resolution there soon!
