i thought this was a beautiful piece - in which you depicted another side of kakashi so seldom reflected in the naruto series. the relationship between kakashi and sasuke intrigued me, in how they were both so alike and similar, yet their relationship downplayed and often overlooked in the series compared to that of gai and lee, and jiraiya and naruto. naruto fans often forget that there is still sasuke and kakashi, and there is this intriguing factor in which kakashi actually chose sasuke to succeed his chidori over anyone else, as well as their similar sharingan ability. i loved the part where you mentioned that kakashi was jealous, and that he wanted someone to make him proud. it made me go aw, and these are really the real reasons why i loved the kakasasu teacher-pupil pairing more than any others.
