I found the last part very touching. The whole 'who did I want to fight for? Who did I want to protect?'

Very angsty and beautiful, but I still cracked up when I read the line about explaining sandwiches.

I really, really enjoyed reading this fan-fiction. It's an interesting angle on a rarely-used subject. Well done.

That's an interesting way to portray the relationship between Vexen and the Replica sort of like a Father-Son bond. In the manga, Repliku insults Larxene about her age and she takes him, without Vexen's consent as far as I can see, and forces Namine to rewrite his memories. Vexen had no say and no choice in the matter, and from the scans I have sen tried to stop Larxene or something, but I won't know till I read the whole manga.

Aw. :( Sad, but good. It was kinda cute how the Riku Replica wanted to protect his creator, kinda like a doggy. X3 Plus, for once, Vexen's not a psychotic pedophile. And you only had like, two grammar/spelling mistakes, which I thought was impossible in such a long story. Well done, indeed.
