Well your alternate story seems to be very well written.

I found it slightly confusing at first, cos there's so many characters to keep track of in a short space of time.
Also, you cut and pasted a lot. And at least twice you did this wrongly and left in the original names. Please fix this.

Very good. Apart from the odd error here and there, this was a well-written story. It does, however, make you wonder what happened to Clara Clayton, though. Maybe she did fall into the ravine after all?
