As for suggestions, I agree with the guy below about a Guilty Gear crossover. Instead of Sol, perhaps he takes on the Commander Gear Justice herself?

Or Darkstalkers, where he confronts Pyron, or Demitri, or - GASP! - Morrigan.

Or Mortal Kombat, where he interrupts the first tournament - pretty much like SF 2 - and Shun Goku Satsu's Shang Tsung and faces Liu Kang.

Then there's King of Fighters, what with the whole scenario CvSNK 2, where he confronts Rugal...

Heh heh, well, when explaining canon divergences, time travel is a time-honored option... An interesting mix of crossovers in this one--seeing Gouki interact with the Back to the Future people was quite fun, and Gouki's reaction to the train itself I thought was very well done.

The train part took several seconds to sink in. But, the line "You will make time." made everything fit before I read the next sentences.

I honestly saw this playing out in my head as I read on. I love the pure ridiculous yet possible notions of it all.
