| Saru Wolfe 2007-07-27 ch 3, | abuseThis was highly entertaining. I loved it. Somehow, though, I can't see Erik keeping such a perky siren anywhere near his dreary home. That just made the story more amusing. Very good! |
| kemurikat 2007-04-27 ch 3, | abuseVery well written and entertaining! Unfortunately, I only know Hellboy from the movie, but Abe is definitely my favorite character! Hope you have a sequel with Siren! |
| pinkrollingstone 2007-02-12 ch 3, anon. | abuseI loved your storie, it was awsome. Siren seems a little to hyper and cant keep her hands to her self. But she also is like me, a little. I would like to see her again. Again congrats on your storie, I loved it. XD |
| Lt. Commander Richie 2007-01-21 ch 3, | abuseWow, I really like this. This goes automatically to my favorites. I love the Phantom of the Opera and I love Abe, and Hellboy in general! You rock! |
| epalladino 2006-12-09 ch 3, | abuseCute story. Yes, I for one would like to see more. Thanks, Beth Palladino |
| epalladino 2006-12-09 ch 2, | abuseGreat update. The interaction between Abe and the Siren was very sweet. Sorry I've taken so long to read this. Can't wait to read the next chapter. Thanks, Beth Palladino |
| FlyingFish15 2006-12-09 ch 3, | abuseI would definitly LOVE to see more of the Siren! She could be a good friend for Abe...I can just see them now. *day dreams* More Please! I love how you combined the Phantom of the Opera with Hellboy, and I especially loved the ending. The meeting between the Siren and Erik was so sweet, and I loved the part where she accidently hugged the girl in glasses. Overall, a wonderfully written story! *adds to favorites* Thanks for a great read! |
| FlyingFish15 2006-12-09 ch 2, | abuseLove the humor! I expected a monster, or Erik armed with a knife to attack Abe, and instead it's a bubbly happy Siren! Great job with the suspense! |
| FlyingFish15 2006-12-09 ch 1, | abuseExcellent writing, your decriptions are wonderful, I can picture everything! I really like the humor you've thrown in, too, especially the part about 'what could possibly go wrong?' |
| Helena Valentine 2006-12-04 ch 3, | abuse*wide eyes write more about Siren! (and can you give me advice on my story, it's my first Hellboy fic and you are a good writer. it's called Thelodus and i just updated it so it should be on the first page of the Hellboy section) |
| Helena Valentine 2006-11-26 ch 2, | abusethis really is a good story, even your ocs have interesting stories. i hope you keep writing, i think you have a great OC to go to the BPRD in this story, that is if nothing happens to the siren. not specifically a romance OC, just a great other character you could add to Hellboy in a fanfiction. keep writing! -H. Valentine |
| Helena Valentine 2006-11-21 ch 1, | abusethis is awsome! i love the combination of Hellboy and Phantom of the Opera, that actually works if you think about it. your writing style is amazing and i love how you don't focus too hard on your OCs, they're just like other characters while the main one is Abe. keep writing soon! (I'm writing an Abe story too...) -H. Valentine |
| KusanIvy 2006-11-20 ch 1, | abuseExcellent beginning! Bravo! I was a little worried initially when I saw that someone was trying to combine two of my favorite fandoms but you are doing a terrific job so far. Please continue! Your Abe so far seems to be a great combination of the comic and movie personalities. And you've definitely peaked my interest. I especially like Marble's remark about mundane explanations. ;) Can't wait to see more! |
| RaeAngel 2006-11-17 ch 1, | abuseThis was awesome! I love both Hellboy and POTO and I'm glad that somebody has finally decided to write a crossover between them!! Please update soon! |
| epalladino 2006-11-17 ch 1, | abuseFantastic!! I can't believe that you've never posted anything before--you write so well. There're really aren't enough 'Abe' stories in this fandom and I'm immensely ecstatic that you've written this one. Are you familiar with Mignola's original comics? If not, you do a great job of making Abe's character a bit more comicverse than most movie-based fan fiction. (I, myself, found that I had to dump the 'out-of-water' gear, which isn't part of Abe's character in the original comics. My assumption in my fan fics is that Abe has a completely dual respiratory system.) I've read (unfortunately, in translation) the original "Phantom of the Opera" novel and can't wait to see what you do with this excellent fic. I personally hope that HB turns up to crack at least some of the foundations of the Garnier. (I've been inside the building; it's so beautiful.) Thanks a million for posting this and giving me something to read on my break-time at work, Beth Palladino |
