This is a wonderful addition to the saga of ATV. I loved the interactions here with John, Jeff and David as well as the view of Earth from Arati's eyes. The telepath Q&A session was an excellent vehicle to convey the various points of view and from different kinds of people. It was also great to have Miranda Jones in the story, and the ease of her insertion felt natural. Going back to the Sheridans and Sinclair, it was another good way to paint a picture of current events without actually viewing them. Hearing about Londo and G'Kar was as interesting as if they had actually been the focus of that scene, and David teasing his son about the alternate timelines also read like one would expect given their unusual circumstances. It made the extra-ordinary feel ordinary. Thank you for this chapter and I look forward to more in this continuing saga.

I liked the Jha'dur scenes because they were voicing uncomfortable truths. The Feds are trying to buy off other races or absorb them.

Loving this story.I Liked the origional it was spawned from also.(wish you could continue that one but i do understand the time to do it is ...tight) You really do give your realities some increadible depth (without the minutia (sic) that alot of the stories here seem to get all tangled up in)and that really makes them readable and something to look forword to.Hope to read more of this and the origional soon .thanks ..jf.

That was another masterfully wrought and written chapter. Capturing the different flavors of people as they face not a metaphor, not a plot device, but a person who chose to do what she did. It was a wonderful build up to the end, tragic as it was, yet ominous as to what Sarek plans. When someone is going to live forever, life sentence at...whatever he plans, takes a whole new meaning. Thank you for this great addition to another of your sagas.

The final lines in this chapter bring to mind the quote from the original Trek ep "Mirror, Mirror", when counter-Spock was warning counter-Sulu that he, Spock, had a very capable network of operatives who would avenge his, Spock's, death. "And some of them are Vulcans."

To which counter-Sulu looked very pale.

Don't tell me that the feds ALSO have something like Carbonite Imprisoment! that would be one piece of terror on the main Building of the Federation Council...a chilling reminder to many, of the final fate of someone that wanted and MADE burn her sectors of the galaxy
