Vallewida and Evan happen to be my favorite characters in Enzai, and I /loved/ this story. It was bittersweet, heart-wrenching, awfully touching. Both men seemed perfectly in character, your writing style was awesome (it conveyed the atmosphere of your fic very well), and the only thing I regretted was the whole thing's damnable shortness.
I wonder if you're still going to write more in the future...

I've only first heard of "Enzai" a month ago; I've been playing the game and am waiting for my dvd to arrive from Ebay, and this is the first fan-fic I have read. You've set a very high standard for any others I might read in the future!

Wow. I really enjoyed reading this fic. I think it's even better than your other Enzai fic, Voices. I never really considered Vallewida and Evan as a slash pairing, but you made it work well.

I'm surprised that no one reviews this fic. I love both characters but don't really regard them as a couple. I think Vallewida is quite difficult to write. He's kinda a complex character, but you mangaed to keep him in character. The little moments shared by them is... cute yet angsty. And they're convincing that I believe that they could have happened in the game. Keep it up :)
