 Hyoga dC 2009-01-18 . chapter 13Hi,
First i'm sorry but even if i can read and understand english, i still have difficulties to write it well.
So, i have read this story because i coudn't wait for the traduction of Sirius Chan. It's marvelous ! I love so Kei...
I wanted to congratulate you for describing so intensely and with so much reaslim the emotions of Kei and Cho and the others... I wish i would be so talented...
Well, i think i'd rather stop here to massacre your language.
I just hope you'll continue to write full of stories about Kei et Cho!!
Kiss

empath89 2007-08-12 . chapter 13it's actually over? that's horrible...i guess i won't have this to look forward to anymore. that's kinda sad. but...i do have your other stuff to look forward to, so you have to update them...::grins:: i did like the ending. and a follow up would be great, but i don't know if it's necesary. but i wouldn't mind seeing them come back to mallepa. i like knowing that tashiro's still around, and i would love to know what happens to him, another reason for a follow up. i loved it...and can't wait for more of anything else you've got for us...

Linker27 2007-08-12 . chapter 13Brilliant ending. It's the kind that makes you want to scream and shout for more, for something! but... you end it all in such a way that to draw it out wouldn't do anything, and everything is wrapped up anyways.
The only thing that I can think of left unresolved is what becomes of Toshi... And even that is not a matter of unfinished work, but a mourning at the sad conclusion you do provide. '"Okay." He nodded, knowing better than to say anything more.' Even if you do bring him up later, he's not there, and I don't truly believe he ever would be again. Sho's become too jaded to be try and hold on to his old life.
Shinji died. But, it was the set up for a splendid scene, and a splendid ending, so I'm not too disappointed. I'm glad that he was able to forgive Sho, in the end. Though, somehow, I think it would have been less sorrowful if he couldn't. Not completely sure why - something like he could never forgive them for taking his brother away... But if he was able to completely disown Sho, as he had stated before, well, it's easier to forgive strangers, isn't it? But that's just me, being insane...
Sho did turn Tashiro. Were you plotting that, or did you decide to do it after you killed him off? It doesn't matter, just curious. Their conversation is one of the best parts of the chapter, I think. I don't know how to put into words why I like it. It's just... symbolic, and sweet, and oh-so sad... Love it!
The ending is perfect. I said that at the start - but I didn't give myself a chance to talk it out in my head (that's what my reviews mostly are, i've noticed. just me examining the chapter - I do hope it isn't tedious to read...) Ending! Right... Everything is wrapped up. Everyone is dead or abandoned or gone. And they leave Mallepa. The symbolism of that, leaving the cursed city where they've lived for so long... A complete renewal. They leave that dark city - dark, which is so often associated with sadness... for a place on the beach, bright and sunny, as full of misery as it is to Kei. With nothing behind them, and nothing ahead. And that is a perfect ending.
I don't think that they would ever return to Mallepa. And some day, when everything was said and done a hundred times over, they'd walk outside, and lay on the beach until sunrise. That being said, if you wanted to write a sequel, I'd suggest you move them back, (or at least being Toshi and Son (and maybe Tashiro) out!) as that would make things more interesting. But, honestly, I think I'd leave it be. It's perfect the way it is. And while I have no doubts at your brilliance as a writer, I think I'd enjoy seeing it remain as it is. Your choice, though. You're the author (and such a brilliant one at that...)
I'll keep an eye out, for whatever you decide to work on!
