BlueOrbs998 2007-01-14 ch 24,	abuseNow we're down to one chapter left! Ah! I read this chapter three times over, and I swear, I teared up each time I read Shane and Stephanie saying goodbye. That was easily the saddest chapter of any wrestling fic I've read. Completely heartbreaking! I also had an upsetting song come on my iTunes while going through it the first time and it added to the sadness. For starters, you captured Paul's emotions magnificently. You did for ALL, but it was so deep, I could just imagine him kicking over a table and threatening this doctor to help his wife. Out of everyone, I expected him most to have a physical emotional outburst. I love how everyone is there, silent, leaning on each other for support. I've been in that situation before and I know how tense it can get. A DIC and stroke? Wow. DIC does sadly kill a lot of women after giving birth, and I think in adding that, you made it more realistic. Good job on that. Aww, so she did have Aurora after all. This story goes with the saying "Lose one to gain another" since their losing Stephanie but gaining Aurora. [“I can’t,” Paul said standing up and wiping his face. “I can’t do this. Not without Steph.” “You’ll always have Steph,” John said. He looked around at everyone and added, “We all will.”] AW! I need a tissue. Now all of the goodbyes were heart wrenching. Amy and Adam's definitely set the tone for how sad they would be. Bless Adam, trying to lighten the mood. I bet Aurora will turn out to be Stephanie version 2. But gah, poor Amy. Shane and Michael's goodbye was my favorite. I got teary eyed here. Stephanie's dying and she's worried about work? Oh man. That's a McMahon for ya. But her and Shane talking was just like a brother and sister, but so utterly depressing. Shane's crying and Stephanie's still joking with him. She's tough. That was just like Michael to give Steph his cross, so sweet. Trish's goodbye! I was looking forward to this. Stephanie asking Trish to be her daughter's godmother fit so well. I saw it more as Stephanie asking Trish to take care of Aurora for her. Which I'm sure Trish will end up doing. LOVED that she told Randy to basically knock all his crap off and look after her family. I'm sniffling again. You ROCK. Linda, crud, that was possibly sadder than Shane's. But Vince, that crazy jackass. Linda's sobbing, Steph's dying, and he's worried about the brands!? I'm sorry but I had to take a moment and just laugh. Like father, like daughter I guess. [Stephanie shook her head sadly. “Not of this mamma,” she said sadly. Linda cried and hugged her daughter tightly as Vince's eyes watered. “Not of this…”] -blows into tissue- I expected Paul to be last, but John's good too. Have I told you that your writing kicks **? Not surprised at all she asked John to be the godfather. Their talk was so warm and gentle, and got across perfectly how much John loves Stephanie. Once again, I got weepy eyed when she laid her head on his chest. That was the best angst I've read in... forever! And this is the longest review I've wrote in forever! Will the next chapter leap forward in time and be months later, years later, or when Aurora is an adult? Or Paul's goodbye? Eh, I don't know. I'll find out soon I guess! Just hope to see what becomes of everybody (including Aurora). Until' the finale update!

I'm in tears here...literally. Granted, IRL I can't STAND Stephanie, but you made her human in your story...and God I don't want her to die now. You're doing great, and I'm so glad I added this story to my watch list. However you end it, I know it'll be perfect. The whole story has been. Dawnie

BlueOrbs998 2007-01-13 ch 23,	abuseTwo chapters? -sniff- Loved the friendly bantering at the beginning. The comments about Trish's feuds had me rolling. I remember all those. Oh! A little bit of Mindy hostility. God, she sounds like she's full of herself. I hope she never sees that WWE title. Loved all the one liners about Days Inn. You made just talking about hotels funny! Random Steve appearance! Oh, I so did not expect him to appear but glad he did! Tension between Shane and Vince? Hmm, interesting. Too bad Steph wasn't there to help Shane gang up on their dad. Vince calling Shane an arrogant ? Erm, pot meet kettle. Hahah! Linda just taking it all in stride. After all, she should be used to the family feuding. [“I see. You want me to open a can of whoop on ‘em?”] Ah, classic Steve. [“Please,” Adam put in. “Hormones and the McMahon temper? I’d choose being eaten by sharks piece by piece any day.”] Oh the horror! Paul must be pretty damn strong to take Stephanie's wrath when she's having a hormonal day. The one liners through out this chapter are hysterical! Probably the best you've written. But the end had nothing to laugh at. It was all emotion and damn, was it sad. She's thinking she's going to be a soccer mom one minute and the next she's bleeding, hitting her head on the table and blacking out. I'm speechless. Which means you’re awesome because I'm now in awe of how well you described that scene. [Like Mindy for example; as good as the diva is, or could be, there was something about her that didn’t sit well with Stephanie. Oh well, I’ll address that when I return, she thought.] Since Stephanie, obviously, isn't going to be able to, I wonder if Trish will find out what's up with Mindy? Anyway, this whole chapter was AWESOME. Humor mixed with drama, that's as good as it gets.
