I follow Scarlet Spiral and "Too Sick to Pray" was just one of those threads that I can't get out of my head. I love this, Hiroko's point of view, watching Genma and Taisei. It makes Genma's and Taisei's pain too real, if that make sense. Anyway, great job. I love it.

Wonderful and disturbing. I've seen several fics referring to Genma's hands. Is this in the canon, or is it a fandom thing? Terrific story anyway.
