That was very good. The struggles of a teenager who had to grow up too fast, who wants to do what he believes is right but can't bring himself to. Nicely written, and you create just the perfect mood for this. Give yourself a pat on the back. :)

Wonderful angst feeling. The mixed feelings of a fourteen-year-old. I loved how you composed all of that ^ ^. And I can imagine Guy being like that during that time at the peak of the seven years. Great job.

I just reached that part of the game so no spoilers, but a warning would have been nice. This was good suspence, I like it a lot. I myself was wondering why Guy never would through with his plan.

Definitely a serious one-shot here. So, I'm assuming that Guy must be seeking revenge for what happened at Hod, or perhaps there's some other, unspoken reason for wanting to kill this child. It definitely sounds like Guy, though, for being a bit reluctant to kill a child that he'd resolved himself to punishing.

Anyway... I, personally, found it a bit ooc for Guy. I can't see Guy taking revenge by killing Luke (or at least not letting him be the only one). He's too straightforeward for that. He seems the sort to go for the duke, then the duchess, then kill some hapless guards in his escape, get to Luke warble, then run away to give Luke the oppertunity to avenge his parents in a sort of 'sorry I killed them, I had to, so here take you revenge like I took mine' sort of thing. Luke was just too Not Involved in what happened for Guy to go for him first, seeing as he's pretty fair minded and values life ^^;. ...and is this 'Luke' Luke? I'm assuming so, since Luke Luke is the Luke Guy knew when he was young.
