This fic is very, very sweet and the yaoi moments were very well written. I really love the short but capturing plot but I wish there are more chapters! If you ever write another Kaito x Shinichi fic I will be sure to check it out (and hopefully you will write some more!!).

I'm glad Kaito didn't really give up being Kaito Kid. What Shinichi says is true, of course, that Kaito will always be Kid, no matter what, but I think it's a comfort to everyone to know that he hasn't given it up.

Will he still be a detective now though? He and Shinichi do make a good team and his magic show at the end when he apprehended the culprit was funny, if yes, a little humiliating. I'd feel bad for the guy, but he was trying to attack Shinichi with a knife, and was a criminal. At least it helps lighten sombre atmosphere, right?

And I admit that Sinichi was a bit selfish in not wanting Kaito to be Kid anymore, but I can understand his reasoning fully. I'm glad they got through that problem without too much of a hitch.

Cute. Kaito and Shinichi's interactions are really amusing. Poor Kaito feeling depressed though. I hope he feels better soon. Kid was a big part of who he was after all and it is sad that he retired so early. I find it surprising that he became a detective though, but I suppose if he wants to catch those criminals another way, it is the best option.

I loved it! And you did not fail at writing this pair. In fact, I'd say you've written one of the better stories to this couple and even fandom. I do hope you continue to write Shin-chan and Kaito-kun. Again, I loved this!
