 gauravmittal2 2009-11-21 . chapter 18waiting foe the next chapter |
Jaely 2009-11-20 . chapter 18I'm really enjoying this story, and as for the thing about the hinted possible rape scene I think it was well written. I look forward to more. |
Malfoie 2009-11-17 . chapter 18Wow great story please post again. I also think that bring in the bogart in the way that you did was great and knowing what his greatest fear was at that time was briliant. I cant wait to read more. |
Malfoie 2009-11-16 . chapter 14Umm. I have a question if no one can read the title or what information is in the book. How did Hagrid get to read the title, cuz not even Jaana or Flitwick was able to read it? |
 Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-13 . chapter 17Interesting house they have there.
'As the light from Harry’s wand bathed the interior of the secret room, his eyes widened. The air in his lungs felt as though it turned to stone and weighed down on his diaphragm painfully. He felt as though he was being electrocuted, as his muscles seemed to seize in place. He stared in shock for only an instant before the air in his lungs started moving again, which resulted in a terrible, anguished scream escaping from his lips.
Harry stumbled back in terror, and then sprinted back across the cellar and up the stairs, never seeing that the wall had reappeared and the cask had silently slid back into place.'
[Let me guess, Harry has had his first encounter with a boggart.]
Well done--keep up the good work!

Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-13 . chapter 16I keep meaning to tell you, but I keep forgetting... sorry, that I think that the bits of the HJP book are great to read--I love them.
=)
~*~*~
Aw man, poor Draco, what a horrible way to have lost his mother. The poor kid is now an orphan. Maybe, if he is raised by his Aunt Andromeda, Uncle Ted, and Cousin Nym he'll be a better person for it... you know?
~*~*~
Nice place that Jaana and Harry now have... too bad her granny had to die for them to have gotten it, hey?
Hm, that is a pretty good use of the Confundus charm there around the property of Jaana and Harry's new home--very effective.

Wynmae:
'“Listen, I need you to go to the shack where Sirius Black is supposed to meet me.”
Harry wasn’t surprised to see the look of fear that appeared on Wynmae’s normally cheerful and carefree face.
“What’s the matter?” asked Harry concernedly, “You’ve been there before for me.”
Wynmae stared back at Harry with her unblinking, pupil-less eyes, motionless except for the slow fluttering of her white wings. Every time she had gone there for him, he had to practically beg her to go. After an uncomfortable moment where the little creature looked absolutely unwilling to comply, she just let out a puff of a sigh and said in a decidedly less than cheerful voice, “Wynmae will go.”
“It’ll be okay,” reassured Harry, even though he had no idea what was causing her apparent distress, “just see if he’s there and come right back. I’ll make sure that the coldbox is still cracked open for you when you’re done.”'
...
'“Well?” asked Harry excitedly, “Was Sirius Black there?”
“No,” replied Wynmae in an annoyed tone, “and Wynmae will not go back.”
Harry sighed in disappointment and said, “What’s the matter? Every time you go there, you get all jittery… even though you say nobody is there. The place really isn’t haunted, you know… it’s just a story to keep people away from it.”
“No ghost is there… Wynmae is scared of the snap-and-bite,” said Wynmae with a shudder, “always jumping and snapping at poor Wynmae… chasing and barking…”
“What?” exclaimed Harry much louder than he should have. He nervously looked at the door and waited a few moments. When Jaana didn’t come busting out into the hallway, he turned back to Wynmae and said, “A snap-and-bite? Do you mean a dog?”
“Wynmae nodded her head emphatically as she said, “Yes! Big and black and fast and scary… always biting, always snapping at poor Wynmae…”
“Sirius!” hissed Harry, “Has the ‘snap-and-bite’ always been there?”
Again, Wynmae nodded, “Yes! Always barking and chasing, scaring poor Wyn…”
Harry quickly and quietly went back into his bedroom to get his wand and backpack, and then made his way down to the first floor of the mansion with Wynmae fluttering closely behind. As soon as they entered the kitchen, Wynmae let out a high pitched ‘squee’ and made a bee line for the coldbox that Harry had left open for her.
Harry, too, made a bee line for the coldbox and opened the door to see that Wynmae had already assumed her frosty form along the inside.
“Hm,” said Harry to himself as he rummaged around the sparse items, “There’s not much here. He’s going to have to make due with some bread and cheese until Jaana can go shopping again.”
Harry stuffed few food items into his backpack as he said to the inside of the coldbox, “Wynmae, do you want to come along with…”
Harry smiled as the door to the coldbox slammed shut before he could finish the sentence, “I guess not.”'
[Poor Wynmae, no wonder she was reluctant to go to the Shrieking Shack. If some dog were chasing, snapping and barking at me, I would be afraid too. It is too bad that Harry hadn't thought to tell her that Sirius is an animagus that becomes a dog.]
It was good of Harry to have thought of food to give to Sirius. What a bummer that Sirius missed seeing Harry by an hour.

Well done--keep up the good work!

An exception error ATE MY REVIEW! I'm not a very happy camper for it... you know?
;~P
*
Needless to say I was majorly p!ssed off.
A brief version of my review is that Harry is one lucky kid to have such a good friend in Wynmae in her ability to cure the Longbottoms of their mental damage from the torture they had suffered.
Neville is a good kid to keep Harry's identity a secret seeing as how he had brought his parents back to him.
Great story--well done--keep up the good work!

Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-13 . chapter 14I really enjoy all the details given in the HJP book; very helpful info, hey?
=)
Too bad that Jaana saw Harry in his adult body and freaked out. She didn't know a good thing when she saw it, hey? LOL
;~D
~*~*~
Holy cow! What a letter... I love...
* how mature Harry (a nine-year-old boy) sounds in his letter to Sirius;
* the details given to assure Sirius that the person writing the letter knows what he is talking about;
* the reassurance that his innocence is believed;
* that forgiveness is given;
* that the letter gave Sirius the will to live and hope for a better life.
'A fire seemed to light in Sirius’ eyes… a spark, an aliveness that hadn’t been seen there in many years.
...
This was the first glimmer of hope he had since that fateful day in Godric’s Hollow… he wasn’t about to give up on it quite yet.'
~*~*~
Whew, it is a good thing that Jaana panicked after all in that they got out before being found out by Hagrid that that is indeed the home of the "missing" Harry Potter.
I'm glad that Jaana remembered to grab the book. Now the question is... how is it that Hagrid was able to read its title?
I'm glad that Sirius took the letter from Harry seriously and jumped on the opportunity to leave as quickly as he did, just like a duck on a June bug. LOL
=)
I hope that Jaana isn't going to be tricked or manhandled/threatened into giving up custody of Harry from Dumbledore and/or the Ministry.
I also hope that Harry is able to convince Jaana and others of Sirius' innocence.
Great chapter--well done--keep up the good work!
:D |
Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-13 . chapter 13Great history summation of Lucius Malfoy's participation in the wizarding worlds woes.
Harry is a good kid to have Wynmae deliver a letter to Sirius (helps to keep him having hope knowing that someone out there knows that he is innocent and loves him).
That was some pretty neat stuff that Harry brewed up and imbued with various substances to change one's body as needed (kind of like "Alice in Wonderland"... EAT ME potions and cakes).
Holy §hit! Harry just took out Lucius Malfoy without batting an eye--freaking scary, yet cleanly accomplished.
I like how Harry changed his plans on getting his revenge on Wormtail in order to save both Luna and her badly wounded mother.
Well done--keep up the good work!
:D |
Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-13 . chapter 12Whoa! That was some wicked awesome tactical advice/info that Future Harry wrote for younger Harry to learn.
Harry appears to be doing well in his lessons, and he is lucky to have such a friend in Wynmae to help heal him when necessary.
Poor Jaana, to have found a jerkwater bozo that had obviously used a date-rape drug on her and then attempted to do so. Thank the gods that Harry interrupted and dispatched the creep (naked) to the glacier with the assistance of Wynmae; which will, hopefully, lead to his having a painful and somewhat slow death of turning into a human popsicle.
=P
Too bad that the babysitter turned on Jaana when Jaana was unable to fight off the date-rape drug and come home in a timely manner safe and sound.
Well done--keep up the good work!
:D |
Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-13 . chapter 11'“Harry… Yes, now Harry is Wynmae, Wynmae is Harry. Wynmae had to leave Wynmae in Harry… We are now one… bonded?”'
Aw, how sweet...
* Harry has a magical entity as a friend and, I guess, guardian too--lucky boy; =)
* that Jaana and Harry love each other as family;
* and that Harry can practice magic in Iceland without worrying about any type of restriction against his age.
Great story--well done--keep up the good work!
:D |
Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-12 . chapter 10I hope that when they packed everything that they remembered to pack up the Future Harry's book.
Oh man, talk about your bug hitting the windshield sensation... poor Harry. He is quite the lucky little man to have made a friend in the wispy fairy type being.
Well done--keep up the good work!
:D |
Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-12 . chapter 9Good God Gertie! Talk about your sun-shiny future to look forward to... sheesh! I don't blame Jaana... I'd get drunk too.
Aw, it was so sweet of Harry to have gotten a Christmas present for Hermione. I like how he took the time to deliver it personally. Too bad the delivery was spoiled by the complication of Hermione being present, her not recognizing him, then screaming out “Burglar! Burglar in the house!” thus getting her parents upset enough to call the police. It didn't help matters any that Harry was too freaked out to be able to concentrate enough to be able to successfully shift out of there. Unfortunately, his choosing to apperate instead has drawn the notice of the Ministry of Magic regulation of magical usage in a muggle household personnel.
Well done--keep up the good work!
:D |
Wistful-Stargazer 2009-11-12 . chapter 8I'm proud of Hermione for wanting to make some self-improvements, such as her weight, and teeth. It is good that she is taking charge, rather than being taken for granted as a joke.
Harry's skill at 'shifting' is too cool... don't we all wish that we were able too, hey?
Well done--keep up the good work!
