Whoa. A nice example of parent/child bonding and to my knowledge, this has NEVER appeared in X-MEN before.

i love different takes on different scenarios. most tcp is written from a mutant's point of view. this one isn't. it's really good. from the girl's point of view, it might seem like her mother is afraid OF her not for her. i'm glad we got to see the mother's point of view because it explains a lot more than the daughter's point of view could.

My mother disowned me for becoming a CHRISTIAN...I wish she could've been like this woman. Thanks for the story, it has a lot of meaning to me. I know it's fiction, but it does remind me that not everyone in this world is a monster.

Why are TCP stories SO COOL? This one is no different.

Reminds me of my relationship with my mother. Well, how it used to be. It's easy to write about parent who are scared *of* their kids, a little harder when it's *for* them. Very good!
