Kind of like that part 5 minutes into What Not To Wear where the fashion-challenged people (cliche fanfiction writers) have to watch themselves waltz around in all the embarrassingly hideous outfits they wore in the last few weeks while Stacy and Clinton (you) whip out a few premeditated wisecracks, usually along the lines of "gag me with a spoon."

I like Laby fics, but they do get a bit repetitive. I think it is because people have a small amount of characters to write about.

Very funny, and very true... at least for the writers who are newer to the fanfic worlds (applies to my work as well, I'm sure!). You have to admit though that there are some authors out there who are so talented that they can manage to make the, shall we call them "tried and true", themes a pleasure to read despite the basic theme being so cliched! I think we all derive inspiration from these writers and know who they all are. Good job!

I just finished a chapter of my newest fic, *laughs* surprisingly enough *not* J/S, and I realized how often I used any combination of those expressions. *sighs* What else can a helpless writer do? Of course, stop turning out crank, but aside from that.

*laughing in deep chuckles* I must admit, in the one Labyrinth fanfic I have suffered myself to write, that I am quite quilty of these themes. Please, don't hold this against my potential as an author, because I acknowledge that my fanfics don't really hold water. And, I DO write originals. But this review isn't about me, is it? It's about you, and your...er...opinions? I believe this is very true, and not just of the Labyrinth genre. And what's truly funny, is how your seemingly very creative spirit has included a whimsical way (ooooo...aliteration) of including what you percieve as the character's real personalities.
