It evoked a wide range of emotions, and made me wonder, "What if..." The feel, the pace--I love the way you stretched it out over the years. It was fantastic. I think I went through the whole range of emotions reading this. It was funny, at points--Ocelot had some amusing thoughts and he and John both had great lines. It was bittersweet, on the whole. Parts made me smile and laugh, others made me nostalgic, others still made me sad. So very real. The ups and downs, the back and forth, the mix of emotions. The characterization is unbelievable. Your Ocelot is nothing short of perfect. Your Snake as well, for that matter. I can't tell you how much I loved this. Favorite, favorite, favorite. |
