This is incredible, with an insight into Detective Robert O. Goren not often seen in fanfiction! It would be easy to believe the interrogation came from one of the show's writers. What I found most insightful was your description of Bobby's technique as "intimate" -- It's perfect!

'But there’s a depth of intimacy between Bobby Goren and his suspects that always surprises me. He’s like their best friend, their confidant, their lover and their worst enemy all rolled up into one.'

The entire progression of the scene -- from his voice "caressing," to his body language and facial expressions, to the "touching" to ground the suspect -- so believable. EXCELLENT!

And the whole betting pool and Alex's taunting was just too much fun :-)
