Oh my gosh, the ending made me smile like such an idiot. Not even sure why. Just good writing, I suppose. This is probably one of the top ten Batman/Nightwing fics I've ever read. Please continue writing so well! :)

I went in search of a story set in Dick's circus days and I knew I'd find a good one by Syl. I love the narration voice in this. It makes the story bitter sweet and pulls in just the right way.

I like the twist at the end. Nice job.

I feel kind of weird for reviewing this, since I know you wrote it a while back, but I needed to say that I just loved it. :-) Dick's perspective when he was a child, his memories of his mother, and that little 'twist' at the very end referencing the Bat; it was all very cool.

Circus-age fics are always fun, and the cut to the future was a great way to end it.
