First, I love the premise - I always wondered why the Weasleys didn't just adopt the kid outright... I mean, heck, pull the bars of anyone's window and you start to question how the rest of their life goes. That said, I have to admit, it unnerved me more than I thought it would how in character it was in my head for Dumbledore to blatantly refuse to see in favor of the war.

This series in general just keeps bringing up for me the question of sacrifice in times of crisis, and your answer worked beautifully. Kudos! By the way, serious points for using proper psychology instead of just fudging it!

that was so awesome. I love how you put some humor in the middle of the bad and that you ended it happily. I totally get the phobia thing. I've been afraid of the dark since I was kid and it varies in intensity. lately I've been better with it. anyway I love this story and i'm going to favorite it.
