Panda 2009-11-10 . chapter 1 I have been reading some of your fics (I have The Contract saved to my PDA to read in bed) and this one really touched me. I suffer from chronic pain similar to House's and because I am only 25 years old and have been on narcotics since I was 15, I am always treated like an addict. I suffer in pain like House does because my pain Dr. has kept me on a low dose of Morphine for the past 5 years and it is no longer working to help the pain. I admit to doing what House does, taking what I need to take to get through some days. It ** me off seeing House treated like he is treated on the show. I threw things at the TV when the whole Tritter thing was going on.
Good job. :) |
Potterworm 2009-05-23 . chapter 1jesus, that was intense... good job |
Kylani 2008-10-02 . chapter 1... Angst! Except real angst. Of the kind that is actually reasonable. Hm. |
Cari 2008-06-25 . chapter 1 House could never be normal. Even when attempting to be normal, he could never be normal. In fact, that's the case with most people. Faking normalacy because they don't want anyone to know how not normal they really are. So in that light, House would be like everyone else. Not normal, in their attempt to be.
...
And that is precisly why I shouldn't watch House for long periods of time. I start to think weird ^_^ |
 Airport Monkey 2007-12-14 . chapter 1Oh, House...!
I love him even more now. That was really sad. Curse you for being so commanding with language!

Merlynnod 2007-02-15 . chapter 1Yeah...it's weird and creepy alright...
I want to say good story...and the "better normal person" line is funny, in that slightly sideways "I really shouldn't be laughing because this is seriously not funny...but I can't seem to help myself either..." sorta way.
Enjoyable to read...but, as you said...definitely weird and creepy. |
NevermoreM.D. 2007-02-10 . chapter 1cool. it says how screwed up our society is. have you ever gone to a shrink? i sent one to an insane aslylum once. i just stared at him until he finally snapped. it was fun. |

 Oni 2006-12-05 . chapter 1 This is beautiful...creepingly beautiful...
the way you described the scared mind of a broken House...it was painfully moving and effective.
Ans even if this is perfect the way it is, I'd love to read some sort of sequel/different POV of this.
Anycase,I sincerely hope you'll keep on writing House! |
 Camisado 2006-12-04 . chapter 1 God. This was . . . disturbing.
I loved it. Needs a new title though. |
EsScaper 2006-12-02 . chapter 1Wow...so hard to imagine his losing, yet you show us a very realistic of the consequences. He'd be a hollow man, a mere shadow of his former greatnes. Great job!
