Not many fic do Hinata justice. She is always portrayed as someone who is weak and shy. I'm delighted to find this fic. The letter to Itachi is a surprisingly nice touch. I hope someone writes her back too.

The scene with Itachi was simply touching, and I loved the childlike solemnity portrayed throughout the piece.

Aww, that was so sweet. You really did a great job showing Hinata and the way she would think about everyone. And I really like how you showed how she's changed and grown up (that she's considering herself and making her own decisions, even in the little things).

You've got such a way with words, too. It's both very vivid and concise. (I love this line, "One heart attack and startling revelation later...")

This is lovely. I know this might sound a bit strange, but thank you so much for writing it. Poor Hinata, she tries so hard. I really liked how her letters reflected the changes in her and her life. The one to her father was just heart-breaking. Wonderfully done.

I love these kind of excursions into characters. They can be short and simple but they are also profound. Often they make me think of characters in a way I didn't before. So it is here!

This was done very well. The theme is original and fitting to both the Hyuuga clan and Japanese culture. I'm sorta a nut about them. :P Grammar, tone, pacing were excellent and you had hardly a single error. (Only noticed one, where it had "ss" rather than "is," or at least I think that's what you meant. Still, it's just a typo.)

Definitely going on my favorites.

This was good. I especially liked the one about Itachi. It was just so innocent. I didn't really understand what Hinata meant when she said that last line to Sasuke.

Great story, lovely concept. One thing though, if what I've read is to be believed, in Japanese culture, it is condidered taboo to send New Year's cards to a family that has seen a death in the past year, therefore Hinata sending Sasuke a new year's crad would be seen as a disrespectful faux pas.

Looking past the clumsy words Hinata attempts to utter and the nervous shuffling of her feet is this Hinata, awkward but childlike curiousity threaded deep in her heart. The kind of Hinata that wants to please, but is a bit sick of it, but does it anyway. Or something like that.

Long sentence short, I like it.

Beyond anything I've ever read...Beautiful story, marvelous writing skills...And truly touching words.
