Oh, I bet Cleo is the new person in the portrait, and that she will be the Watcher, 'cause of what she said in the first chapter about simply watching. And that Prophet reminds me vaguely of Gennai, lol. It's the whole crpytic thing.
It's clever how the portraits of TK and Kari changed when they became part of the new team, and I like how the temple updates itself to become more useful to the Digidestined. Very fresh ;) *skips off to read the next saga*

I think it is cool that Kimika is Ken's Protector/Mentor - you can see it so easily because of the darkness within them. And I see that we saw Iori through the same eyes - trustful and wise :D
Well, now that there is only one part left, I wonder what will happen - maybe Sanimon will go evil again! ... or perhaps we will simply learn what the Keys are and/or the new threat.

Bah! Compared to the older kids, those tests were quite tame :-p Mind you, I did like the idea that they have to demonstrate their awareness of their strongest virtues.
Actually, in a saga I am working on (I call it Digimon 2.5, and it takes place in the summer of Malomyotismon's attack also) I also gave the new kids their own virtues. I won't go into it, but the old kids received new channels for their crests and the new kids received a crest for themselves. In my mind, I always gave Daisuke the Crest of Power - he was always a powerful character to me, because he was so human. He had the power to keep being himself, and his strength of will at the end of the series just astounded me. To Miyako I gave Determination, because she always seemed to have so much drive for whatever she wanted to do. And for little Iori I couldn't decide between Trust or Wisdom, but in the end I gave him Trust because they trust him and the wisdom he gives (plus, Wisdom belongs to one of my Irish digidestined who is part of the sequel to Digimummies). I just think it is interesting that we analyze the characters similarly with different results :D

Hmm... I'm still not sure if I trust Sanimon. Maybe after the tests are done she will try another devious trick... LOL, that house-temple has many uses in your sagas, doesn't it? :-p I wonder what powers the new kids will receive, since all the elements have been taken - perhaps they will share portions of the powers that their 'mentor' older kids have - like Miyako having wind and earth power from Mimi and Sora or something like that. Anyways, I am sure I will like the new saga itself, and the introduction is certainly enticing :)

I missed this story after I finished Friends of the Stones and started reading Children of the Digital. It was really nice and I like the way that the New Kids were tested. Although I did think they would be a bit more drastic than that. Good fic! ;)

Maybe someday you can put "everything" into one thingie, but keeping the rest as it is, because of how the way everything is set up (like how the list of stories is alphabetical order, not like first published or something.). But only an idea because I want to read everything again from the begining and I would like to read it all in order! =D Keep up the good work and write to me some time.
