I actually liked how it originally ended better. The original was kind of mysterious and I think the new ending is kind of anticlimactic.

I liked this ending much better. Thanks for adding the epilogue! Although I am hoping that the welt at the base of Sam's neck is a hickey and not a Goa'uld entrance point!
