It's kind of sad how she never really knew what actually happened. In a way, I think Anise didn't tell her out of pity. Maybe it was the better thing to do, so she could live thinking her place was to avenge those she lost, rather than die because Ion was gone.

Very nice use of perspective. The details were really good. It all sounded very accurate and in-place. I could almost hear her voice along with it. Awesome job!

Arietta's feelings are something not to be trifled with. And with Anise doing such a thing, it's obvious that someone could very well end up dead.
