Just finished reading this story. Really well written. I enjoyed it a lot.

My only real comment is that there was the odd spelling mistake. It often happens if you write a lot at a time or if you have a lot to say and are trying to get it all out. Proof reading your own work can be tricky as you often read what you mean rather than what is there. A beta might be a good idea.

You captured and held my attention through the story and I cared about what happened.

Phew.. I'm four chapters in to your story and I think it's great. I love the way you've brought racial tension into the story (as the girlfriend of wonderful Chinese boy, I can assure that sometimes the tension utterly blows!) and I think it's great how you've made us sympathize with the bad guys. They're not really bad at all.. they just want to be respected and treated well. I've got to be getting back to work now, but I wanted to submit a review first so you know you've got another fan. I'll finish reading this story soon, most definitely. :)

This is a compelling story, well written with a solid plot and beautiful descriptions. I really like the fact that you set it in Victoria (I've only visited it once, so it was fun to visualize your characters in that setting.)
Bethany is an exceedingly realistic character, and Cain is a fun read too. Fala is one of my favourite characters because she's so classically villainous.
My suggestion for your writing is to flesh out your background characters more, Mac and Kotori and the like. They felt a little flat to me.
I have a question for you though. Why didn't Daybreak do anything to Mac et all for sacrificing all of those people?

Awesome and intense chapter! The battle between Fala and Beth was spectacular. I can only guess it gets better and I look forward to Fala and Cain's fight, but what about this other waking dragon?

Beth and Kotori 's scene was heartbreaking. For such friends to be at odds :sighs:!

Although I don't like her character, I enjoyed Fala's transformation.

Wow! Interesting ending. So... Cain has chosen, Beth has accepted and now it begins.

Ok, first of all this story was such a pleasure to read, I liked hearing Beth's story very much, and i liked Cain even better that that. ;)
What I loved about the epilogue is that it is so damn realistic. And perfect for your story. Since your story is relatively short (and sweet), it makes sense that the characters don't develop in leaps and bounds. Obviously, they have changed and grown from events but they are still in character in the epilogue- like you didn't make it too fluffy or sappy because their relationship isn't like that...yet.
So I just wanted to praise you on that point, you have a knack of creating characters and staying true to them.
I also want to praise your consistency. You know you should get an award for that. This whole story is very consistent in its delivery, not only characterisations, updates, chapter lengths, but also the plot and all the action scenes. It truly has been a pleasure to read.
And how hot was Cain? He is definitely my type of guy, too bad hes already got a soulmate. Lol. I loved the part with his brother- who is just so adorable by the way. When he said little brother, I had initially imagined *little*- nice surprise though, i have to admit. I hope you are thinking of perhaps doing his story? Or getting another story out? That would be delightful since this one is so delightful.
I'm very glad that things worked out in the end I love the fact that your story is so to the point and doesn't add in unecessary twists and overrated drama, so brownie points for that too.
IT was a fic very well done and very well written. You should be proud of it. I certainly enjoyed it a lot. It has been a good read, take care and thankyou for making it interesting for us. ^_^
