The idea wasn't bad at all. I liked how you changed the repeating line at the end, it was perhaps another way of pointing out how Max's feelings for Alec had changed. So that was nice.

I'm not sure if you're aware or not but you don't let anonymous reviewers leave their reviews, so you might want to get that enabled.
