The Grangers seem to be getting "pulled" often ("as if pulled by an invisible rope"/"as if some invisible marionette was tugging our strings"); is there a significance to this or am I just looking too deeply into it? Great start at what appears to be a promising mystery!

I love mysteries. this is really different from the other things you've written, but I really like it so far. can't wait until your next update!

Wow, I like the suspence. Very well written. I like the characterization, but I cannot see Hermione putting up with the dismissed questions, and inability to ask a quetsion for long. The part about Harry seems suspect, as He seems to beable to push off the imperious, unless he was possesed by say Voldimort. In which case this is town is scary. Good luck, and I hope that your muse keeps you inspired.

I like this story very much so far. I like the way you handled the conversations with Ron and Harry. They are worried and preparing for bad things to happen but you did not flog it to death. You were very subtle. I will be looking forward to the next chapter.

Yay, another story! I have to admit you have me intrigued, even if this might not be an SS/HG story. I can't wait to see what sort of twists and turns you take with this.

The people telling me to go visit the manor would've kind of made me suspicious, so I'm not sure I'd go. I'd laugh so hard if Hermione didn't - imagine the looks on the townspeople's faces! Hahaha..."WHAT?! You didn't GO?! BUT WE'VE BEEN WAITING! AH!".

Right...I must admit, the little detail that the Dursley's go to the Granger's for their teeth amused me. I know I've never read a story where that was done. Hermione should've bounced her head around in the fireplace, rolled her eyes, and moaned like a ghost. "Oh, I must talk to Hary!"
