This was interesting- I also loved this scene, but I would have liked it to be a little more internal. We saw this in the episode, but we didn't get to see her inward struggle or how amazing it really is that she could do this. That would have added some more depth to it.

i agree w/ u, and especially the earthbender herself, TOPH RULES! ya, after 2nd season, everyone hated Zuko's guts (no matter how great he looks w/ that hair) *spoiler alert* but i dont think you'd hate him quite as much once you see the day of black sun (E, i was literally wooting my head off and waving a zuko sign after watching that *foaam...WOt!* and my kataang sympathies were satisfied, weird combination if you ask me...but i like zuko's complexity and round characterness as much as i like kataang simplicity and sweetness)

Toph is the greatest Earth bender in the world and over all bender. Also i agree Zuko is scum, to think Kitara was going to waste the water on him, i hope Toph gets to meet Zuko so she can kick his ass.

AGREED! Toph rocks my socks! Zuko...I still love him, but he's a punk. I can't watch that episode without saying "Zuko, you punk" at least once. But I'm certain that he'll return to goodness! ZUTARA FOREVER!

ah. i love toph. not so much when she first came in, though. no, no, i actually really hated her at first. now, though, i think she's freaking amazing. the world's greatest earth bender indeed.

...and just a side comment, about what you said about zuko- omg, i know! at first i thought he was helping katara and iroh and them, but then he goes and does THAT! i was very disappointed. nearly threw a fit. poor iroh.
