ArielFan4ever 2006-12-31 . chapter 1Hey there! Lauren here. i Hope you're doing well. I know, I know, I haven't read nor reviewed any of your stories lately. I'm so sorry! But I'm abck to rea and your stories are wonderful! I've also posted a few one shots of my own for Avatar and a really good American Dragon Jake Long xmas storyt aht I would really like you to read.
But back ontrack. This story was amazing! I really liked it. I honestly believe you ahve Katara down to a T. I think that's exactly how she would have felt.
Well i hope to read more from you soon.
May the power of water be with you always

the rebel angel 2006-12-16 . chapter 1I like the way you think! And this one shot.
I was disappointed with Zuko too, cuz he is my favorite character.
ZUTARA FOREVER! |
crazy4smiley67 2006-12-11 . chapter 1i love the story you should keep writing it with that wishful thinging you have. I am still, like a week or two later, shocked by what happend and i'm so dissapointed in Zuko its not even funny. i uesd to think he was bad and evil to go after Aang and do whatever it takes to get what he wants (power) but then i relised hes good hes just a home sick boy looking for his father's aprovel but now i'm questioning that. Also i love your theores (spl?)
no matter what i or anyone eles says
KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE PPL! ZUKO IS GOOD!

Copperstring 2006-12-06 . chapter 1That is really wishful thinking I agree, but I was thinking it too. I just saw that last episode online (I'm from Belgium, they haven't even aired book 2 here yet!) and I was so disappointed and confused that he would join with Azula. I mean, he said it himself "Azula always lies". How could he forget that?
I'm a very disappointed fangirl right now so please excuse the rambling.
Well, I love what you wrote, it gives me hope that he can redeem himself.

RavenHeart777 2006-12-04 . chapter 1I think that you're right. Zuko was oviously conflicted at the end of the episode, and you make good points with the forshadowing, but I'm not sure that Katara will be the first one to forgive Zuko. She's not very good at that kind of thing, and he and Azula did almost kill Aang. But like I said, I think you're right for the most part, and, honestly I have never, NEVER, thought that Kataang was that good of a pairing. It's so... clished (sp?) oh well. great story!! |
justafan245 2006-12-04 . chapter 1omg! i loved this - making me feel slightly less depressed - i personally think he'll come to his senses and try and take her down from the inside - like help the gaang in or something - i'm just too depressed to think clearly at the moment - i really thought something was gonna happen FINALLY - but no they just take it away - omg angry rant on you review - sorry - i really loved it! |
chocobeer 2006-12-03 . chapter 1AGH! YES! gosh, the season finale was such a ripoff! i have totally in shock for the past 2 days. only now am i capable of coherant thought about the crazy plot twist. seriously, zuko mustve been on crack that night. or, more likely, the writers were. i mean, not only did it dissapoint the millions of viewers who wanted to see zuko finally become good, it practically nullified the entire 2nd season's character development of zuko, and the fact that HE UNDERWENT A FREAKIN METAMORPHOSIS!
speaking of which, he was really creepy when he was nice.
anyway, good story. lets hope that katara really does see it that way. |
skyblue0291 2006-12-03 . chapter 1omg! that was really good! i think that zuko will realise what he has done OR he is planning something...
but anyway yeah i dont think he would turn evil and stand with his evil sister because he loves his uncle too much to leave him. this is all a plan i can feel it!
i loved this stroy coz there was nothing wrong with it! nothing that i could see anyway! no spellign mistakes, no confusion with storyline, it all fit togther perfectly! 5/5 my friend! |
neeky baby 2006-12-02 . chapter 1i still have faith in zuko. maybe this is all part of some bid scheme to get inside the fire nation and take it down from the inside out. i don't know but i can't believe that he's truly evil. and it don't trust azula one bit; she can't seriously be happy that zuko's back because that means that he would take the thrown. i have to wait 'til season three before i can be sure. I BELIEVE IN YOU ZUKO FOREVER! |
No. 2 Pencil 2006-12-02 . chapter 1I soo want to hit Zuko... he's an idiot! It's as he said before, 'Azula always lies', his father won't give him back his honor, and he'll stay banished. Azula doesn't want him back, she wants the throne, and with him back, she won't get it. Plus, my friend and I have a theory that she killed their mother, ever since Zuko's dream when he was 'sick'. When the blue dragon (who was obviously Azula) told him 'go to sleep, and never wake up, just like mom'. anyhow, I'm done with my ranting. Great job!

JDPhoenix 2006-12-02 . chapter 1It was horrible! So horrible! Not the story, the story was great; very cathartic for a die-hard zutarian, but the finale just made me sad. Your story has been helpful in pulling me out of the post-finale funk. I may come back and read it again, just to make myself feel better again later. Thank you for this hopeful piece of writing. |
Shrugs 2006-12-02 . chapter 1Great! Well done. I understand your pain *Sniffles*. With any hope, it is a plot. He does know that Azula always lies. |
Junsui Chikyuu 2006-12-02 . chapter 1I hope with you! But I think Zuko's not a very good actor. He wears his emotions outright and doesn't hide anything well at all. I also wish I could believe Katara would have a moment of relaization like this, but my faith in her is not that good: sometimes, she's really smart and sometimes she's really blind. I appreciate your points on Azula too. I hadn't even realized she did that. One thing that would support the idea that Zuko is faking though - Azula left him and Iroh alone. Either they had a talk or they had a plan. I doubt Zuko would have left him stuck in the rocks, which would only mean he was waiting for a cue of some kind to step in. Zuko also looked at Azula oddly when he first joined the fight; he didn't even look at Aang until he was done (what I think was) sizing her up. Everything moved way too quickly. But again, I might be overanalyzing. Did I mention I liked your story? (^-^;;) sorry. It really got me thinking! |
Solareon 2006-12-02 . chapter 1nice story but probly if azula would kill iroh she blame aang for it |
Dragon Jadefire 2006-12-02 . chapter 1Or when they finally reach the Fire Nation, Iroh is sentence to death! Murhahahaha! Heck, Ozai would do something like that. But I think Zuko is plotting. And I have a funny feeling Aang will forgive Zuko. |
