Hiya! I LOVE this story. I could totaly picture all of that happening. C-3P0 waiting fir his master...not knowing that his memories will be erased. And little R2 knowing exactly what was going on..*sniffle*

i completely understand the meaning of the title. In ANH, when R2 and threepio escape the attack brought upon by Vadar, they shoot out of the ship and land on Tatooine...where they meet Luke Skywalker. but it still doesn't explain why Obi-Wan doesn't recognize them when R2 claims that he was his. Maybe someone else erased R2 and Obi-Wan's memory of each other, but R2 was able to recover some of his memory. anyway, the only person that knows the truth is the almight, GL :)

Suberb! The emotion was so well described. You could feel the tension in the air. I think you got the reaction of both droids correct. It would make sense that something like this had to happen.

I must admit I am extremely impressed. Not only was this original, but it was full of feeling and true to all three of the characters. I felt as if I was right there watching the scene happen. I look forward to reading more of your work in the future.

Yep, I wondered about that after Ep. !. came out. A good treatment of the events. :) Poor R2. I have a soft spot for the little droid. More than 3PO.
