whitewave16 2/29/08 . chapter 12This is sweet and romantic! |
whitewave16 2/29/08 . chapter 5This is the one I liked the most-funny and sweet. |
Maeve Riannon 12/15/06 . chapter 10So much love and pain... I would really wish to see more stories about Finwë and Fëanor, especially written by you. I love the strong emotional tension that you have achieved, and the complexity. "-I am coming with you." Poignant and beautiful. As a drabble should be (and isnt, most of the times) |
Ellfine 12/13/06 . chapter 12Exquisite. I especailly love the 5th one FOrever and their donning each others colors. Wonderful. |
Ellynn 12/13/06 . chapter 13So nice. :) I like the stories about two of them very much. |
Ellfine 12/10/06 . chapter 7 WOW! That was powerful and showed a much greater compassion than I expected to see from the one reputed to be so black-hearted. Haunting and well done! |
Ellfine 12/10/06 . chapter 9 Beautiful and sweet ! What a wonderful gift! |
Ellfine 12/10/06 . chapter 8 WOW! That was an unexpected ending! Wonderful little quadrabble! I am seeing more and more folks writing teh marriage of Nerdanel and Feanor as something they did wihtout the blessing of their families. I wonder why this idea has become so popular recently. It is interesting to see the trends in fannon. |
Maeve Riannon 12/7/06 . chapter 6My. Those drabbles are magnificent, each and every one of them. I really wonder why they dont get more reviews. The first one is the best portrait of Nerdanel I have ever read, and I love the idea of making her love for Fëanor the consequence of her childish curiosity for fire, crafts and forbidden places. I also congratulate you for being maybe the first author to give Caranthir an interesting personality (and an interesting personality which has nothing to do with his love interests, for a change). And the last vignette, about Rúmil... *is blown away*. I love your account of the Eldest Days and the Awakening, and so far its one of the very few which have managed to sound convincing (which means, both mythical and primitive) to me. Even more, its about the birth of the writing system. Whee! (BTW, having some Elves awake with their spouses and others without can be said to have attained a respectable status of tradition, as it was done by Soledad as well in "A Tale of Never Ending Love".) Ahem. Excuse me for babbling... I have the huge bad feeling that I should browse through the Silm section much more often, and compensate by writing long reviews whenever I do. ;) |
Ellfine 12/6/06 . chapter 6The Rumil story is beautiful. For he who felt he could not craft beauty, you crafted a beautiful piece for him. Exquisite. |
Ellfine 12/6/06 . chapter 4I love the Finarfin drabbles (thank you very much for them!) You write him honorably and nobly and do him justice. I'm honored and flattered that you wrote about him for me! |
Annamariah 12/6/06 . chapter 2I like how you used Þerindë instead of Serindë. Feanor would be happy. ;) |
