Wow! A real nice story and I really enjoyed reading this!! I liked this! But...I have two corrections to make:

1. Instead of Mystery/Drama genre, it should have been Mystery/Supernatural. That is more appropriate for the story genre because of the Ghost...well, even if it's not real.

2."Then, Shin-kun, can't we talk awhile?" She was starting to get excited now. This ghost seemed so friendly and nice! Had she really spent the first six years of her life frightened of them and missed out on the opportunity to make interesting new friends?

The "can't" there should have been CAN.

"Then, Shin-kun, can we talk a while?"

And I like how you made the name Shin-kun, very nice...classic, I could get used to THAT...nya nya nya, sorry SHIN-KUN, hahahahaha! And I like how Conan-kun seems to adore Yukiko so much!

Awh, it was so cute and touching to see Ayumi comforting Shinichi.X3
And it's good to see a story with Conan and Ayumi without overangsty and boring one-sided romance between the schrunck detective and the little girl.
I've always a weak spot for stories with Ayumi helping the adult, schrunken or not), so I've loved this one.

Ohh... Nice ending. You're right, though, this is a bit more somber. But I get the sneaking suspicion that Kudou-kun just keeps digging himself a bigger hole. X3
