Oh wow!This is truly a deep story with so much emotions and heart wrenching pangs.I can't help getting almost scared at the alst lines ast Kimlasca's vicious behavoiur.A little twist and wow,there you go with a great piece.This is simply a must read story.

This was really good, it made me cry when Jade died. I think you got Peony down really well personality wise, especially when he was about to fight the Kimlascan soldiers. I could really see him just sitting there looking all relaxed and stuff before fighting them.

I must say, you are a very good writer. I've read a lot of your Tales of the Abyss oneshots, and they're all really well written. Keep up the good work. ^_^

Oh my gosh! Its 11:00 o'clock pm. and you hve me crying. This is amazing. You did such a wonderful job. Jade dying? It almost seams impossile. Then again, I didn't expect Ion to die either. I remember Ion reading this in the Seventh Fon Stone Score. So sad. You did a really good job. I can't wait to read more of your work.

...wow..That was some intense stuff. The game does lead you to believe that Jade is invincible, his death here was very well done. Peony being so apt with spears seems entirely plausible to me and I liked his dialogue. Adding that bit from the Plant Score was a nice touch. Almost poetic. And finally the ending. When I read it I saw a mental image of soilders rejocing in the ruins of Grand Chokmah and some disemboided voice saying 'The end of the world has begun.'

"The last emperor of Malkuth.." I can hear Ion now.

Wonderfully depressing story. (That's a good thing.) Very well-writen.
