Really good story here. Most importantly, you've stayed in character all round and completely avoided cheesiness... Extremely insightful and I can see you've definitely put a lot of effort into it, so I congratulate you on that :) Chichi is a character who definitely has a lot of sides and a lot of stories to tell and I truly think you've done her justice. A very big well done!

You know, I'm quite surprised that this does not have more reviews. It's a very good story, and it gives absolutely wonderful insight to how very tragic Chichi's entire life really is. I'm thrilled to find out that I'm not the only one who thinks that Goku wins the "Worst Father of DBZ" award (although Bardock does come in second), and that Chichi would have to be an *amazingly* strong person to do as well as she does with her children. She's maligned and marginalized by everyone (including the fans!), and you did a great job capturing that sadness. Very excellente!

This story is so sad... I can see what you mean when Chichi is just disregarded. It's so unfair to her and she is a wonderful mother and wife. She's always waiting for Goku to come home... I know Goku is always gone but when he comes back he does try and stay as long as possible even if its not forever. Maybe if Chichi knew how little she would see of him throughout their marraige she wouldn't have bothered but then again I don't think that would've stopped her because she loved him so much. I resent Goku's long absenses too but I still think he would've stayed forever if he could, but being the world's hero can really make one lose sight of whats really important sometimes...

Aw... Poor Chichi... This story is so sad. I kind of wish it were longer, with all the details in between. And I wish loser Goku didn't hug her in the end because he totally doesn't deserve her, but Chichi is such a forgiving person. I think you are one of the first fanfic writers to finally portray her FAIRLY! She's not some pan-wielding maniac. I love how she questions Goku's relationship to Bulma, and I think it's good that Gohan came back and asked about Goku and Pan. It's so amazing--you definitely should continue with it. I think you should do a Piccolo/Chichi fic, though, if you don't continue with this one. That would be even better than Goku (sort of) coming back in the end. Well, kudos to you girly! Much love.
