Went digging for this fic specifically, hoping to ask if you're still active in updating it. Especially since it was at such a juncture. I do hope you're still writing. Scary thing is that there aren't updates in your story lineup since 2008 O_o

The long awaited new chapter. And for the first time things didn't work in Shinji's favor. Sorry about that Jedi who got killed. And Misato got away with the scematics which is good.
How will Rei react when she hears that Shinji can't come to see him?

But when is the Emperor going to disband the senate? When he does that, Rei will be out of the job and Shinji will realise that if you want peace, prepare for war.

It had some good scenes and I was praying Shinji would get a lightsaber when battling the Jedi.

good story, i just wanted to say that twin snakes is just a redux of the first MGS(i used a walkthrough for the former to beat the latter lol)

This was pretty good.
Not very long, and not alot of action.
You still have Shinji and Vader as friends, which is good. I think.
You have Rei and Shinji going to a play later on.
You also have Shinji reveling in a very unusual problem: combat. Shinji is a general but he leads from the front of the line not the rear. Sitting down too long makes him bored and useless. But get him out on the field and he's a monster.
And now you've added Misato Katsuragi. If she's planning a breakout then she's probably going to run into either Vader or Shinji. Vader will probably kill her, but Shinji, as a battle hardened general will incapacitate her. Also, if the situation were to present itself, Shinji could let her go as a means of trying to locate the Rebels... to join them later on.
It's an idea if anything.

Long time no see. And I really hope that Shinji get's to Rei soon. But what will happen now that Misato has done something? Hopefully we see another chapter soon.

Disappointed, a little. That doesn't mean this chapter accomplished nothing. Misato's entrance is a big deal.
I've had people waiting for over a year and a half for a couple stories of mine ;) so I don't think waiting for your story is too much to ask. That reminds me, I really should write something...nah.
