Jessi Tsuki 2009-03-13 . chapter 1;.; I love fics involving Zelos and Seles, and no matter how much she denies it I know his death must have hit her hard.
I've actually only played through the game once, and Zelos did not die on my path. ^^; I'm on a new game+ now but I'm not sure where that's going.
Someone said on the path he dies that they never even bothered to show anyone's reaction to it, especially Seles's. That's terrible D: |
Kristtorn 2007-08-30 . chapter 1The story started great. The story ended great. The middle of the story was absolute perfection.
You kept both of them in character, and showed just how deep the bond of Zelos and Seles is. There isn't really much of Seles in the game, so it's really amazing how you could get her personality so well.
Hehe... and I love Zelos too!^^ |
Arctic Husky 2006-12-09 . chapter 1Oh, I adore sibling bonding~ Although this was very bittersweet... I find that you wrote both Zelos and Seles' characters very well. That kind of interaction between them was so perfect. And the ending, although quick, couldn't have been made any longer. It was so simple, yet so sad. You did an excellent job! I'll be faving this story.
(And I noticed that another reviewer was talking about Zelos' eye colour being inaccurate. In-game he has green eyes, while in official artwork he has blue eyes. It could go either way.) |
Umi no Kanshisha 2006-12-08 . chapter 1Well, put simply, I loved it. There were only two things I had problems with, actually.
1) Zelos' eyes are /blue/, not /green/. He has beautiful blue eyes. He and Colette both do, actually, though hers are more of a deep, brilliant azure, and his is more of a cerulean, or a stormy gray-blue, depending on how you look, but it's always like the sky. I'm really serious about eye color.
2) In your summary, it sounded as though Seles was reflecting on what had happened. I would have liked it if you would have had a bit at the end of the story with her going back over her relationship with Zelos, what she could have done differently, etc.. While I still loved the story as it was, it was missing what I had expected from the summary.
Overall, however, it was really quite great. Though the eye color thing did irk me, and though I was a tad disappointed not to find the emotional angst I really expected from Seles, it was really good.
I love Zelos, too. =3
Anyway, really nice job.
